Welcome to Oak Class!

We hope you have had a wonderful summer with friends and family and that your children are enjoying their start to life at Bradfield C.E. Primary School. It has been wonderful to see them settle in, explore their new classroom and forge new friendships. 

You will find below our Curriculum Overview for this half term and our parent letter which you should have received on parent mail. We are looking forward to an exciting term and have already begun our learning using the book "Here We Are" to inspire us.

General Information - 

Our hall slots will be on a Monday and Friday. Please leave PE kits in school as we do not always fully change, but find them especially useful when the children fall over in the wetter weather and need spare clothes or shoes. Children may bring wellies to keep at school. Please name everything!  

Remember, you can pre-order meals in advance with your child. We cannot see what they have ordered, so you might like to tell them in the mornings as they often ask. Children receive free fruit and can have milk too but carers / parents need to order this. Please send your child in with fresh water in a named flask / bottle. 

We will start to add details of our learning activities to Tapestry in the near future. Please add in any home events as we would love to see them and share them with the children. 

As we journey through the year, we will be adding some galleries to share our learning experiences with you. I hope you enjoy looking at them.

Please use the plastic Home-Learning wallets to keep our reading scheme books from being damaged in bags. Thank you.

Staff are always available to answer any questions at the end of the day, alternatively drop the office a line.
