Values & Ethos
At Bradfield CE Primary School we are LEARNING TO LIVE inspired by Christ. With Jesus as our model we are learning to live with
We believe that our school is a place for children to learn about themselves, the world and their place in it. Using Jesus as the model for our lives we want to develop our core values through rich experiences and opportunities to reflect.
Our four special core values help us to learn
We believe that to achieve our goals and dreams we must take risks. By being brave enough to face those difficult times we will grow to be the best we can be. As citizens we need to have the courage to challenge what is wrong and stand up for what is right.
Learning to live in our modern world requires us to develop the strength to bounce back from adversity, to keep going when things get difficult and to make the right choices even when others do not.
Showing compassion to others and to ourselves is not just showing sympathy but also requires us to act. We believe that compassion enables us to learn, play and live with others in harmony and will encourage us to understand others and ourselves.
Joy should be present in every aspect of our school life. Taking the time to appreciate the small wonders of each day will help us to develop a positive, thankful and humble attitude.
